- פָּחַח
- פָּחַחto have holes in ones garments; to be clad in rags, be exposed. Part. פּוֹחֵחַ. Meg.IV, 6 (24a); Tosef. ib. IV (III), 27 פ׳ פירסוכ׳ one whose limbs are exposed may recite the Shmʿa (v. פָּרַס) Meg.24b קטן פ׳ a minor who is poorly dressed. Treat. Sofrim XIV, 15 פ׳ הנראים כרעיווכ׳ a poḥeaḥ is he whose knees are exposed, whose garments are torn, or whose head is uncovered.
